The ISPS Handa Wales Open

The ISPS Handa Wales Open has grown into one of the leading events on The European Tour International Schedule since its inception in 2000 and past champions include Ryder Cup stars Graeme McDowell, Robert Karlsson, Miguel Angel Jiménez, Ian Poulter, Paul Lawrie and Paul McGinley.

Thailand’s Thongchai Jaidee held his nerve on a tense and testing final day at Celtic Manor to win the ISPS Handa Wales Open on Sunday 3rd June 2012.

ISPS (International Sports Promotion Society) was founded by Japanese philanthropist, Dr Haruhisa Handa, in 2006 and has fostered partnerships with golf governing bodies worldwide to help develop the game at every level and promote blind and disabled golf.
